Artist in Residence

After forays into the realms of Molecular Biology and Parasitology, Cheryl gave up the life of a research scientist and ran away to study art instead – first studying Sculpture & Environmental Art at The Glasgow School of Art, graduating in 2007 and latterly for her Master’s of Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, London, graduating in 2012.

Despite a change in discipline, science remains firmly at the heart of her work where she is primarily preoccupied with investigating the role that popular science and science fiction plays in contemporary culture.
