Print Studio Access & Facilities


The art space caters to all kinds of creative practices, including but not limited to painting, drawing, illustration, design, installation, photography, street art etc.


However the artists who manage the space also operate a Design & Print Studio, Ms Browns Lounge, and we are able to provide a specialist studio environment for printmakers & designers who wish to work in traditional print mediums.


Bookings and usage of the print studio equipment and facilities are managed by Jo & Darren from Ms Browns Lounge. We provide access to a range of printmaking equipment and facilities for etching, screen printing, relief printing, monoprinting, lithography, letterpress and bookmaking. (See equipment list below)


Access to the Print Studios is included in Lismore Art Space Coworking Membership*.


*Members are eligible to make use of the facilities to produce their own work as long as they can demonstrate that they have experience in the  printmaking process they wish to work in, can work independently, and are proficient in handling printing equipment and materials and have their own professional cover (NAVA or equivalent.)


Consumables such as rags, butchers paper, phone books and cleaning items will be provided, artists must bring their own inks, paper and other equipment.

  • Book Press (32x40cm)
  • Limited quality rollers (9cm to 20cm wide)
  • Screenprinting tables with clamps+wash out
  • Adana table top letter press (small)
  • 5m Textiles printing table with reg. bar + stops
  • Glass top table for relief and intaglio printing
  • Clean paper preparation areas
  • Paper & print storage

All bookings to the Print Access Studio will be required to undertake an induction session of 1 hour and demonstrate their proficiency before using the space. NAVA or equivalent professional cover is required.


The studios are available for longer term print projects and studio residencies so please get in touch.


Other Services

The Press is managed by Master Printer Darren Bryant. Darren has 21 years experience as a printmaker and has extensive knowledge regarding printing processes by hand as well as having 15 years experience teaching printmaking.
