Lismore Art Space is a recently renovated two story warehouse space in Lismore that has been custom designed with artists & creative industries in mind. Large light filled areas, communal spaces, outdoor work areas and gardens with dedicated printmaking studios. Renovated and set up by local photographer, Ted Harvey, LAS is a large art space with five separate studios, garden and communal areas in which to work.

The Artspace is the home of Ms Browns Lounge, the contemporary print studio of artists’ Darren Bryant & Joanna Kambourian. Full time operation of the art space began in 2010 by Joanna, who, as a result of a successful Australia Council for the Arts ArtStart grant, was able to take on the full time management of the space. L.A.S has since hosted a number of local, national and international artists, creatives, events, exhibitions, performance and photoshoots.

We have continued to work out of, run, and manage the studio and over the last few years have been working towards creating a specialist studio environment that caters towards artists & designers working in and experimenting in printmaking and print technologies.

The vision is to provide an accessible studio environment for our own printmaking and print based projects as well as for artists & creatives wishing to explore print and printmaking processes in their work. We love collaboration projects and have a strong focus on working with the community and through our networks to create opportunities for artists & creatives through exhibitions, workshops, residencies and mentoring.
